Until 2008, she was the CEO of Barclays Stockbrokers. == Wall Street career == Nauiokas worked at Bankers Trust and Bear Stearns before joining Cantor Fitzgerald in 2000. She was a senior managing director at Cantor in September 2001, when terrorists attacked the World Trade Center, where the firm was based.〔McCarthy, Michael. Sept. May 28, 2002.〕 The attacks claimed the lives of 658 Cantor employees, and Nauiokas, 28, was soon appointed corporate spokesperson by CEO Howard Lutnick.
